Astrophytum myriostigma 'Bishop's Cap'

Astrophytum myriostigma is a distinctive spineless cactus from Mexico, valued for its geometric form and attractive white flecking. As plants mature they develop a sculptural appearance, making them a favourite among cactus collectors and container growers.

This is a slow-growing species that rewards patience, gradually developing into an impressive specimen with age. Mature plants may produce soft yellow flowers from the growing point during the warmer months.

Care

• Light: Bright light to full sun. Introduce gradually to avoid sunburn.
